Discover the virtues of Monoï de Tahiti ®, a Polynesian treasure

Fleurs de tiare

A natural treatment with exceptional benefits.

Monoï de Tahiti ® is a sacred oil for Polynesians, obtained by macerating fresh Tiare Tahiti flowers. This oil regenerates the body and soul with moisturizing, nourishing, and softening properties for the skin. However, Monoï can solidify at a temperature of 24°C. To restore its liquid and silky texture, simply run it under warm water.

Paradisiacal ingredients: Tiaré Tahiti and Coconut

Monoï de Tahiti® combines two natural ingredients. On one hand, Tiaré Tahiti, the emblem of French Polynesia, is a snowy white flower that has soothing, purifying, and calming properties for the skin. On the other hand, Coconut, the white gold of Tahiti, produces a clear oil of incomparable delicacy, highly appreciated for its moisturizing and nourishing properties.

An authentic Polynesian origin

Monoï de Tahiti® is the first cosmetic product to have obtained an Appellation of Origin. The selected ingredients are of Polynesian origin (Tiaré flower and Coconut oil). This sacred oil can be used alone or in combination with other skincare products to fully benefit from its benefits for the skin and hair.

The Monoï de Tahiti®: a prodigious body care

Monoï de Tahiti® is a natural and precious oil used to nourish, protect, and soften the skin. From baby care to Polynesian beauty rituals, this care is versatile. Indeed, it quickly penetrates the upper layers of the epidermis to moisturize the skin and leave it soft, satin, and sublime.

Usage tips

Use on the body

To soften and satin the skin, pour the equivalent of a hazelnut of Monoï de Tahiti® oil into the palm of your hand. Spread the oil between your hands and apply it to the still damp skin after showering or bathing. Gently massage to penetrate the oil.

Use on the face

To nourish and soften your face, apply a drop of Monoï de Tahiti® oil to the desired areas and massage gently in circular movements.

Rediscover your emotional balance

For millennia, Monoï has been used as a massage oil to relax. The Ma’ohi people use it to awaken new sensations and escape. During Polynesian ritual massages such as Taurumi, Monoï de Tahiti® restores the flow of energies for total well-being.

Usage tips

Use in the bath

To enjoy a pleasant moment of relaxation while protecting your skin from chlorine and lime, add a few drops of Monoï de Tahiti® oil to your bath water. Your skin will be nourished, soft and delicately scented.

Use in massage

For a relaxing massage, you can use Monoï de Tahiti® oil. Pour a small amount into the palm of your hand and warm it up by rubbing your hands together. Then apply to the body along the energy lines, starting from the top of the head down to the feet, for complete relaxation.

Monoï of Tahiti®: Sublime your skin

Soothe and smooth the skin, enhance sensuality

Monoï is a cult care from the Pacific lagoons known for its strong moisturizing and repairing power. After sun exposure, it soothes and deeply nourishes the skin while giving it a satin appearance. With its exotic scent, it leaves a veil of grace and light on the skin that awakens the senses.

Sun care and after-sun

To nourish and soothe sun-dried skin, apply Monoï focusing on the most exposed areas. It will enhance your tan and offer a pleasant feeling of well-being. However, it is important to note that Monoï without sun filters does not protect against the harmful effects of the sun. We, therefore, recommend avoiding exposure during peak hours of sunlight or using appropriate sun protection.

Sublimate hair with Monoï

The hair of Tahitian women is often damaged by sun, wind, and sea salt. To protect and enhance their hair, they use Monoï oil, a natural sap that deeply nourishes and repairs hair. Its enchanting fragrance will transport you to the magical universe of lagoons and coral beaches.

Repairing hair mask

To repair and nourish your hair after a day at the beach or pool, rinse them thoroughly with fresh water and massage them with a little Monoï. Leave on for at least 15 minutes, then wash with a gentle shampoo.

Wet hair treatment

Put a few drops of oil in the palm of your hand, then spread it between your hands and apply it to your hair. Massage gently to allow the product to penetrate, and leave on for at least 15 minutes before rinsing with a gentle shampoo. Repeat the process once a week for optimal results.

Dry hair treatment

To deeply nourish your hair without rinsing, apply a few drops of Monoï to the tips. The product will deeply nourish and protect them from external aggressions.

How to recognize the Monoï de Tahiti Appellation d'Origine?

If you are looking to buy Monoï de Tahiti®, it is important to check that the terms “Cocos nucifera” and “Gardenia taitensis” are listed in the ingredients on the product packaging. In addition, the product label must indicate the percentage of Monoï de Tahiti® present in the formula. Although the use of the Appellation d’Origine stamp is not mandatory, some brands use it to facilitate the identification of Monoï de Tahiti®.
